Kripalu Yoga is a yoga of consciousness to gently immerse into self-discovery. This style of gentle hatha yoga invites us to enter into the physical postures not to work at perfecting them, but to discover who we are through awareness, breath and movement.
During a Kripalu Yoga session we are invited to listen to and follow the wisdom of the body and then focus the mind in a double-arrowed awareness: outward on the posture itself and inward on the internal state of that moment's sensations, emotions and thoughts.
The practice of yoga through non-judgemental awareness allows one to be in touch with their true self of stillness, in tune with the flow of life.
